6. We have meticulously followed FEMA standards in setting up our inexpensive food storage units. See, Amounts to Store, below. Our units contain Wheat, Other Grains, Legumes (Beans and Peas) Sweeteners, Dehydrated Non Fat Milk, Dehydrated Powdered Eggs and Salt as per the recommendation of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. 

Suggested Amounts to Store for a One Year Supply: (From the Federal Emergency Management Agency) Uncooked Dry Goods: (Shelf life 10-20 years on grains and beans unopened. Store out of direct sunlight in coolest possible place. Keep supplies dry, cool and dark for the longest possible shelf life. Each Super Pail is vacuum sealed to prevent decomposition and oxidation of stored food stuffs.)

FEMA Family Staple Units will ship by Residential Freight, Commercial Freight and/or Pool Truck, if available to your location and also may ship by UPS. These FEMA Units have a small discount off of each price. Pallet orders start at 1,000 lb. The average pallet size for commercial or residential freight is 1,300- 1,700 lbs. The maximum number of buckets per pallet is 36, plus cans. We can fit 2,000 lbs. all bulk foods not packed for long term storage on Residential or Commercial Freight. Pool truck pallets start at 2,000 lbs. with the maximum being 2,500 lb. or 48 Buckets plus cans. Shipping is a separate quote for these pallet and multi-pallet orders. Smaller FEMA Units ship by UPS Discount rates, depending on weight and zip codes. If you have the unit shipped to a business address in a business zone, then you will save the most on S&H.
