Family Grain Mill Modular Unit

• Modular Design: Any component of the Family Grain Mill ("FGM") may be purchased either individually or in cost saving, multi-component packages. You may purchase the hand base or the electric drive base (or both), and all accessories will interchange between the two, locking in place easily with a twist of the wrist.  Optional adapters will allow you to drive Family Grain Mill Attachments with a Bosch Universal mixer or Kitchen Aid Mixer 325 Watts or higher.

• Versatile Multi-Grain, Herb, and Spice Milling: The grind is infinitely adjustable, from fine for bread flour, to medium for "Cream Of Wheat" style cereals, or coarse for steel cut or cracked grain. The milling head grinds corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, rye, barley, rice, spelt, buckwheat, millet, coffee, Kamut, quinoa, spices, dried herbs, and sesame (doesn't grind popcorn.) Runs cool to preserve nutrients. Large five cup hopper capacity. The vegetable processor head processes vegetables, nuts, fruits and cheese with 3 included slicer/shredder stainless steel drums. To Grind Corn into corn meal put the corn through once on 3 to crack the corn, then put it through on grinding for meal. You can vary the fineness as desired. Sesame -- use the Meat Grinder and 2 mm or 3 mm Grinding plate for Sesame. Flax, use the Meat Grinder attachment and 2 mm or 3 mm Grinding Plate for flax. Make Nut Butters using the Meat Grinder and 2 mm Grinding Plate for smooth or 3 mm Grinding Plate for crunchy. Also, can make Spaghetti Pasta from Whole Grains with the Meat Grinder and smaller Grinding plates.

  Meat Grinder attachment plate size 2 mm. Ideal for flax seeds, wet mustard seed, fine puree, fine baby foods, and smoother peanut or other finer nut butters and spaghetti pastas. The 3 mm Grinder Plate makes crunchy nut butters and larger spaghetti pastas. All roasted, dried or hard nuts need to be soaked a minimum of 36 hours in either Oil or Water prior to using the Meat Grinder to make nut butters!
