Sealers for Cans. Read Can sizes this way: First number is diameter and second number is height. The first digit is in inches, the next two digits are fractions of an inch to the 16th of an inch. For instance, 211 x 400 means the diameter is 2 and 11/16th" x height is 4 inches.

Common Sizes of Cans:

1. #1      (211 x 400) half pint can. 2 and 11/16" diameter x 4" tall.

2. #2      (307 x 409) pint sized can. 3 and 7/16" diameter x 4 and 9/16" tall.

3. #2.5   (401 x 411) 1 and 1/2 pint can. Approximately 4 and 1/16th" wide x 4 10/16" tall. volume 30 oz. can.

4. #3      (404 x 414) 2 pint can. quart sized can. 4 and 4/16 diameter x 4 and 14/16 tall.

5. #10    (603 x 700) volume is 105 oz. capacity, 6 and 3/16" wide by 7" tall -- (about the size of a large coffee can, less than one gallon size), 

6. #12    (603 x 812)  8 pint can. 6 and 3/16" diameter x 8 and 12/16" tall. Full gallon sized (128 oz.).
