Daily Bread

Stay in touch with God, your enabler for good,
apart from Him you can do nothing of Kingdom value, but you can do
all things through Christ who strengthens you!
Man does not live by bread
alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Our Father, who art in
heaven, hallowed (Holy) be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come (Your rule
and reign come on earth and in us.), Thy Will be done on earth, as
it is done in heaven. (Think about heaven, no more sorrows there.)
Give us this day our daily bread. (Daily bread can be our needs
for that day.) And
forgive us our sins and trespasses (not putting God first,
transgressions, sins of omission (not doing what we ought), sins
of commission (doing what we ought not to do), believing lies, not
trusting the Lord, ignorance (of God's Word) and unbelief, and
missing the mark (timing) of the Holy Spirit) as we forgive those who sin or
have sinned against us (not respected us, been unkind to us,
believe lies about us, been dishonest with us, stolen from us,
hurt our feelings by pride or rejection and been prejudicial with
us or hated us without cause). Lead us not into temptation (guide
us away from danger, show us the way of escape), but deliver us from
evil (from the evil one and his tricks).
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and
ever. Amen.
