Item #	Description -- Organic cereal, flour, salt and pastas. Low Temperature Dehydrated to preserve nutrients and vitamins. Packed for Long Term Storage in RB, SP, #10 cans, #2.5 cans, 1 lb. Mylar Bags and 5 lb. Mylar bags, except Bulk Bags or Bulk Boxes. Oxygen Absorbers in each can. All cans with lids. Recommend SP for Long Term Storage and Gamma Seal Lids for ease in using your storage foods. One lid for each type of food that may be open at one time. SP are Super Pails with the foods vacuum sealed without oxygen in thick Mylar bags and oxygen absorbers added outside the mylar, inside the 6 gallon bucket and a gasket lid hammered in place. They provide a second line of defense against humidity and in case of loss of bucket integrity. RB are packed for long term with oxygen absorbers inside the buckets and a gasket seal lid hammered in place. They are adequate for dry areas and shorter storage goals. Salt, whole grains, whole beans, sugar, white rice have a shelf life of 13-20 years unopened, if packed for long term. Oily seeds like nuts, flax or soybeans have a much shorter shelf life. Hulled grains or beans may also have a somewhat shorter shelf life. Brown Rice varies 3-5 year shelf life. Flour has only a 1-5 year shelf life depending on packaging and temperature of storage area.
