Freeze Dried (FD) Fruits, Vegetables and Shredded Cheeses. Packed for long term storage with oxygen absorbers added in #2.5 cans, #10 cans and cases of six (6) #2.5 cans and #10 cans. Freeze Dried Products retain the color and more of the size of fruit and vegetable products. They are larger in volume and lighter in weight than higher moisture dehydrated fruits, vegetables and cheese. The process and equipment for freeze drying foods is more expensive than low temperature heat dehydrated foods. Both processes remove moisture from the foods. Freeze Dried is 4% moisture or less and would be considered "low moisture'. #10 cans come with nutritional information, reconstitution instructions and tips. All cans are double enamel inside and out and each comes with a plastic snap-on lid for use after opening. You will need a good Metal Can, Lid Opener to open these cans.
