Statement of Faith

Bible:   We believe the Bible, to be the inspired Word of God, the revelation of His will and plan for the salvation of all men, and the revelation of His character and personage.

God:   We believe in one God existing in three persons: Father (Creator of heaven and earth), Son (Word of God made flesh and dwelt among us) and Holy Spirit (Spirit of God who manifests God's Will and indwells believers, reveals Jesus, teaches and brings to our remembrance the Word of God and convicts the world of sin).

We believe that Jesus came into the world in the form of a man. When He found himself in human form, He humbled Himself and became obedient even unto death on a cross.  He lived a sinless life and gave up His life not for His own sins but for ours. Since the Bible shows that the penalty for sin is death and that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood; we have accepted Jesus' crucifixion, innocent shed blood and death as payment for our own sins. We have received God's plan of salvation for all mankind. We receive Jesus into our hearts and minds as both Savior and Lord. We have begun the process of bringing our souls (mind, will, imagination, emotions and memory) and bodies into obedience to the Word, Will and Spirit of Almighty God. It was impossible that the blood of sheep and goats could bring about the remission of sin. God sent His own Son to be the payment for our sin. Jesus said, "If there be any other way, let this cup pass from Me, nevertheless, may Your Will be done." Jesus is our sin bearer, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. We relied on Jesus' death as payment for our sins and His resurrection as proof of our justification. We believe in our hearts, and confess with our lips that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead, therefore we are saved.

Accepting the Sinner, Denouncing the Sin:
We believe that no sin is too big for God to forgive. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just (to His own Word), to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. We repent and turn away from our sins and selfishness. We renounce the practice of sin and by God's help choose to live godly lives growing more and more into His likeness each day. We believe that it is not God's will that any man be lost but that all should come to repentance. We have been entrusted with the precious knowledge of God's love and forgiveness through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sins of the whole world.  We endeavor to share that love and truth wherever we go, that others may also be saved. Eternal Life begins in this life and continues into the next life. Jesus said, "I have come to give you life abundantly and so that your joy may be full."

Receive Jesus now, with this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus, come into my life, change me, make me the person you want me to be. I believe you died on the cross for the sins of the whole world. Forgive me for my sins, I give you my sins, I give you my life, I give you my heart. Come, live your life in me. I want You as my Savior and my Lord. I will obey you and follow you from this moment on. Just help me, strengthen me, enable me by your indwelling Holy Spirit. I put my faith in You, Lord Jesus, cleanse me, change the desires of my heart and remove any unbelief.  Amen
